Mac Motorcycles: Cafe Racer or Streetfighter?

So which is is? With only a few modifications separating the new school from the old school in this genre, the decision solely lies with the riders on how they classify their machine. Are you new and edgy, or are you a connoisseur of the vintage? No matter where you think or state you belong, Mac Motorcycles seems like they have the bike that will work regardless of what you claim.

They're new line of bikes combines classic post chopper pre-crotch rocket styling, a little of that new new clean cut and artsy class, the bare-boned stripped-down minimalist less is more rugged feel,.....................topped off with ugly exhausts. I guess these guys aren't really the Jesse James types huh? Sorry Mac, if I feel like picking one up, that's the first thing to hit the trash when I set out to mod it. Overall it's a pretty sweet bike and I could see myself cruising it for the point A to B daily commute.

On the down side of things, I think it's a little over the top when it comes to cost considering the alternatives. One could have a more powerful and just as sleek of a road demon for the same price if they choose to go the crotch-rocket route. Another avenue for skilled person would be to modify a used 80's/90's bike with minimal damage to the wallet and a one-off look. A smart consumer could go this route as well and just pay to have a bike modified and get a bigger engine for the same amount of money.

Back to the matter at hand. Is it a cafe racer, a streetfighter, or a derivation of a chopper bobber crossbreed as described on their website? Do you really care what someone else thinks? Well you shouldn't and that's the way it should be. It's your cup of tea and yours alone so if it comes down to it, simply say it's "yours"............................................Ride on my friends, ride on.
